Skiing or snowboarding on the Steinplatte Winklmoosalm is easy if you have the necessary basic knowledge.
This knowledge is taught to you in a simple way by highly trained ski instructors . Of course, you also have the opportunity to develop step by step into the perfect skier or snowboarder in our advanced courses.
We have experienced children's ski instructors to look after the children, who will teach them how to ski in a fun and engaging way.
Some ski instructors are full professionals who teach and train on other continents during the summer. A course includes more than just skiing - it guarantees solid basic training, fast carving turns, mogul runs and excursions into deep snow. At the end of the day, there is also a stop for après-ski.

Triassic Kinderland on the local mountain
This winter attraction, which was redesigned in 2023/24 especially for children and families, transforms the local mountain in the middle of Waidring into a colorful and cheerful snow paradise. The highlights of the Triassic Kinderland include a funline with boxes and a wave track, accompanied by funny dinosaur figures, as well as a 108-metre-long conveyor belt, which allows little skiers to effortlessly enter and ascend the world of skiing.
On the highlight days, our mascot Triassi visits the Kinderland. The Waidring Steinplatte Ski and Snowboard School offers full and half-day courses including meals and lunchtime supervision as well as ski taster sessions for small children with additional childcare in the Triassic Park on the Steinplatte. For culinary snacks and warming breaks with hot drinks, the Hausbergalm welcomes you at the parking lot of the ski meadow.
